Well, I’m finally getting around to launching this site. Sorry to all the Nick Larsen’s out there that wanted this domain and have found me squatting on it for like 2 years. It has been a long and tenuous road getting to this point. I put in hours and hours of market research, spent months developing an interface, and wasted countless dollars on promotion. Finally, we are ready to launch.
In all reality, I’ve just been busy with other projects and haven’t really wanted to do anything with this domain yet. Now is the time so here we are.
So what can you expect from NickLarsen.com?
- Pretty regular updates on me and my family. I’d like to make sure those people who care enough know what’s going on with us. I may tell you about a vacation we went on, a movie we saw, a dinner we ate, something our cats did, etc. You don’t have to read it or care, but it will be out there and hopefully more regularly than on past blogs.
- Random observations and opinions. This is what blogs are basically about. People want their little space in the world, their “soapbox” if you will. This is mine.
- Productivity ideas and life hacks. I like things that keep me organized or enable productivity. Whether I’m actually productive or not is another story, but the idea of the productivity is key.
- Static pages for HOW-TO’s and personal projects. Whether I’m building a little web application and it needs a home, providing instructions for installing a sink or busting down a door, or planning the stages for a car renovation - you will find it all outlined here.
That’s about it for now. Enjoy the site and what’s to come. Oh, and there’s no real party.
